Parental Controls FAQ

You can control screen time limits, chat permissions, who your child can interact with, spending limits, privacy settings, and monitor their activity. All controls are designed to keep your child safe while allowing appropriate online experiences.

No separate account is needed. Parental controls use your existing email address for verification. When you first access parental controls, you'll be guided through linking your email to your child's account.

Currently, we use a single daily limit that applies to all days. However, you can manually adjust the limit throughout the week as needed. We're working on more flexible scheduling options for future updates.

When the daily limit is reached, your child receives a notification and is automatically logged out. They can still view their profile and some read-only content, but cannot play games or interact with others until the next day.

Our AI-powered content filtering blocks inappropriate messages before they reach your child. Additionally, you can block specific users, and all messages are monitored for safety. If your child reports unwanted contact, we investigate immediately.

Voice chat can be enabled/disabled separately from text chat. When enabled, it includes the same safety filters and monitoring as text communication. Voice chat is automatically disabled for accounts under 13.

Safety signals alert you to potential concerns like reports of inappropriate behavior, attempts to bypass filters, unusual activity patterns, or failed login attempts. These help you stay informed about your child's online safety.

We use advanced AI combined with human moderation to filter inappropriate content in real-time. This includes text, images, and behavior patterns. All moderation decisions are logged and can be reviewed by parents upon request.

Go to the Privacy & Data section and click "Request Data Export." You'll receive a comprehensive download including messages, game history, activity logs, and account information within 30 days.

Account deletion permanently removes all data and cannot be undone. You'll need to create a new account if your child wants to return. Consider data export first if you want to keep activity records.

Check your spam/junk folder. Codes are sent from notifications@brickverse.com. If you're still not receiving them, try a different email address or contact support for alternative verification methods.

Time tracking is based on active session time and may not include background activity. The system tracks time spent actively using the platform. For precise measurements, consider using device-level parental controls in addition to our platform controls.
